I used Aural Next www.auralfractals.net/ specifically the cellular automata generated events to create about four interrelated tracks. Set to patches in Reason 12, edited and layered, and customized for aesthetics and composition so not too much dissonance or feedback.
I am still a beginner at music production and can always improve, but I am really happy with how it turned out. Original piece is like 10 min long lol.
The emotions I try to convey in this piece are timelessness and nostalgia.
